ELECTRIC VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

We are growing and, to help us fulfill our mission, we present this job offer in our Cáceres office.

We are looking for a profile with the capacity to participate in the design and development of a new power converter for electric vehicles.

As a development engineer, your duties will be:

• Definition of Powertrain requirements and sizing based on high-level requirements.
• Simulations of the Powertrain components. 
• Physical prototyping of designs. 
• Tests and validation processes design and execution. Equipment selection, configuration and testing. 
• Analysis of the results of laboratory tests. 
• Cooperation with external suppliers during prototypes design and verification.

• Bachelor or Master studies in a relevant engineering
• Adequate level of English to carry out documentation and have technical meetings..
• Experience in the analysis or development of the systems that make up the electric vehicle (powertrain, battery, electronic systems) or similar (high voltage systems, chargers, power electronics).
• Ability to design electrical wiring according to established requirements. 
• Ability to manage laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers...). 

In addition, it will be valued:

• Automotive experience and knowledge of applicable standards.
• Experience in development, design, testing of electric vehicle systems.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink as a system simulation tool
