We are growing and, to help us fulfill our mission, we present this job offer in our Cáceres office.

We are looking for a profile with the capacity to participate in the development of a new power converter for electric vehicles.

As an embedded software engineer, your duties will be:

  • Define a functional deployment plan according to the different stages of prototype development and production.
  • Software verification test definition and execution.
  • Processes implementation and software development according to ISO 26262 standard.
  • Powertrain estimation and control algorithm development.
  • Control algorithms implementation.
  • Integration of different electronic units and sensors.
  • Models implementation and verification using HiL and SiL techniques.
  • Documentation of the developments carried out.
  • Software architecture and low level requirements definition according to high level requirements.
  • Functionalities design and implementation related to the developed control algorithms functional safety.

  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols.
  • Experience as an embedded software engineer in the automotive industry or another industry with high regulatory demand.
  • Experience in the development of embedded systems according to functional safety regulations.
  • Experience in control models implementation using Matlab/Simulink and automatic code generation.

In addition, it will be valued:

  • Knowledge of control theory and embedded control. 
  • Experience in depuration of complex software. 
  • Knowledge of C. 
  • Advanced knowledge of linear and nonlinear estimation and control techniques. 
  • Experience in the development of electric vehicles. 
  • Understanding electrical diagrams and component data sheets. 
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle architecture. 
  • Knowledge of Python or similar for data analysis and visualization. 
  • Experience in the FMEA process. 
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques.
  • English B2 or higher.
